Meowcard: Cat Mood Diary

Snap your cat, read feelings

Our Story

Story illustration 1

MeowCard started from a quiet, ordinary moment at home with my cat, Ribo.

Ribo is a gentle cat — the kind who comes home, lets out a soft "meow," and then wanders off to sit somewhere nearby.

Not clingy, not demanding. Just… quietly there.

Every day after work, I would talk to him about whatever was on my mind.

He would sit and listen, blinking slowly, tail curled around his paws.

And I often wondered:

"What is he thinking right now?"

One evening, after a long day, I crouched down to pet him.

He looked at me, breathed softly, blinked once… and I realized I had no real way of understanding these tiny signals — these feelings he expressed without words.

That moment stayed with me.

I wanted a way to read my cat's little emotions, and also a way to leave my own thoughts beside his, like two small notes inside the same diary.

That idea grew into MeowCard.

A simple place where you can upload a photo of your cat, see a gentle interpretation of their mood — inspired by feline behavior research like ethograms and CATFACs — and swipe to leave a tiny note of your own.

Not a tracker.

Not a tool for monitoring.

Just a warm, living journal for the small stories between you and the cat you love.

Since we launched, some users told us MeowCard feels like "a mood diary shared by me and my cat," and others said it helped them notice emotions they had always sensed, but never had words for.

That means a lot to us.

If MeowCard can help you remember the quiet warmth of these everyday moments — the soft meows, the silent companionship, the little looks that mean something — then we've done what we set out to do.
